Batchmaker – 1st Shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–Finish
Alliance Workforce is hiring a dependable Batchmaker for a first-shift opportunity in Tampa. This role is responsible for safely mixing, blending, and preparing raw materials used in the production of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
Responsibilities
• Follow daily production schedules and supervisor instructions
• Safely handle chemicals and raw materials
• Batch, blend, and weigh ingredients according to batch instructions and SOPs
• Complete production paperwork, batch sheets, and inventory records accurately
• Perform periodic product sampling and assist with quality control checks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Inspect equipment and report any issues, spills, or unusual conditions to a supervisor
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and operating policies
• Work closely with supervisors and quality control personnel throughout the batch process
• Assist with general production duties as needed
Qualifications
• Previous batchmaking, chemical manufacturing, blending, mixing, or production experience preferred
• Ability to safely follow written SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work throughout the shift
