The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Staff Coordinator/Scheduler
What You Will Do
Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs)
Manage the reduction of overtime, and ensure timekeeping accuracy
Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility staffing requirements for all shifts
Respond promptly to call-outs and find appropriate coverage to avoid staffing gaps
Support new employee onboarding by coordinating orientation schedules and shadowing/preceptor shifts
Collaborate and confer with department supervisors and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action; maintain records for reconciliation
Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted as required.
Order, store and stock medical supplies for use by healthcare staff.
What You Must Have
Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or staff coordination (preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care)

Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and computer systems
