The Gardens at Gettysburg, a skilled nursing facility in Gettysburg, PA, is seeking a dependable Prep Cook to join our Dietary Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys food preparation and wants to contribute to quality meal service for our residents.

Position Details

• Part-Time

• Every Weekend Required

• Morning coverage primarily needed

• Afternoon hours may also be available based on department needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with prepping and cooking meals based on menus and dietary needs

• Follow standardized recipes and proper portion control

• Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards

• Support the cooks and dietary team with various kitchen tasks

• Assist with meal preparation and service as needed

• Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior experience in a healthcare, school, dietary, or food service setting is a plus

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Dependable and committed to providing quality service to residents
