Dishwasher

Tin Roost restaurant in North Liberty, IA is looking for experienced Dishwashers to join our team.

As a Dishwasher at Tin Roost, you'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a steady supply of clean items for the kitchen team. You'll work closely with the team to maintain a clean, organized workspace, and assist with keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You'll also help with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed.

Compensation for fully trained Dishwashers starts at $15 per hour and up based on experience

Schedule:

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Must be available to work nights and weekends

What You’ll Do

• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand and/or using dishwashers
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
• Cleans trash receptacles
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
• Must frequently immerse hands in water
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
