Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Coppell, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 2:30pm to 11:30pm
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $22.00hr
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves performing inspections, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to maintain compliance with company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments including CMM, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  • Verify product dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality standards
  • Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed documentation
  • Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective action processes
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and safety standards
  • Conduct routine audits of materials and processes as required
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration
Job Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of stable work experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience using inspection tools such as CMM, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Understanding of quality standards, tolerances, and inspection procedures
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems
  • Previous experience with corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment
