About This Role
The NC Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality, developmentally apppropriate learning environment for pre-school-aged children in NC Pre-K Program. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement engaging learning experiences that promote children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, literacy, physical, and creative development while maintaining compliance with NCPre-k, North Carolina Division of Child Development Education, and center policies, and procedures.

The NC Pre-K Lead Teacher is expected to demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and high quailty early learning experience. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions associated with caring for and supervising young children. Sitting and standing for extended periods. Requirements
Candidates must meet the current education, licensure, and eligibility requirements established for NC Pre-K Lead Teacher.
- Bachelor's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development or another related field.
- Birth-Kindergarten teaching license or eligibility/progress toward required licensure when applicable.
