Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and Envive Healthcare of Berne's policies and procedures
Develop and implement effective nursing practices, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality resident care
Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among nursing staff
Oversee the management of nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and budgetary compliance
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Stay up-to-date with current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN License
Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term care industry
Two years professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing setting
Knowledge of the Federal and State Regulations for Long Term Care
Knowledge of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities
