Job Description
We are seeking a Retail Trainer to join our team and help develop the skills of our retail staff. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging classroom training programs, provide hands-on coaching, and ensure employees have the knowledge and tools needed to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.

You will lead orientations, provide ongoing support, and create a smooth onboarding experience for new team members. Reporting to the District Manager, this position is ideal for a dynamic trainer who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about developing talent and driving operational excellence.Compensation:

$46,000


Responsibilities:
  • Offer ongoing coaching and feedback during onboarding and beyond to support employee growth
  • Participate in retail meetings to remain informed about company updates and training initiatives
  • Complete required new hire documentation, including the employer section of Form I-9, and maintain consistent communication with Store and District Managers regarding paperwork and training progress
  • Use training documentation to monitor new hire progress and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders
  • Partner with Store Managers to customize training based on store needs, including material processing, stocking, customer service, register operations, and store cleanliness

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be disabled or disadvantaged
  • Proven experience in teaching, training, or group facilitation, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in high-pressure situations
