HR Generalist / Recruiter – Coral Gables, FLOur client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist / Recruiter to join its Human Resources team. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Coral Gables, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience managing full-cycle recruiting while supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.
This position partners closely with firm leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and support the firm's continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for legal and administrative professionals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, conflict checks, and offer coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and streamline the hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the firm.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a resource for employee questions and HR-related matters.
- Promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Benefits & Payroll Support
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment.
- Coordinate with payroll providers and support payroll-related activities, including timekeeping and attendance tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- minimum 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including full-cycle recruiting; prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP experience is a plus).
