Compassionate Caregiver in Orlando, FL

Location: Orlando, Florida 32837

Pay Range: $16 - $20 per hour

We are hiring a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team in Orlando, FL. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care to senior veterans in need. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and management to ensure optimal care.
• Monitor and document clients' health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• CNA license of HHA certification preferred.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.

• 1-2 years of experience in dementia caregiving required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Level 2 background screening, eligible status with AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) is mandatory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
