The New Washington State Bank is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented person like you to join our team as a Loan Servicing Support Specialist! This position is located in Charlestown, Indiana at our Loan Operations Center. This individual will provide support for our Loan Operations Team by performing a variety of duties.

Position Overview
Provides loan servicing support through loan maintenance, payment processing, documentation review, title tracking, customer service, and operational support while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Loan Servicing & Account Maintenance
  • Review new loan input on the core system for accuracy.
  • Process loan documentation and tickets to create and maintain new and existing loans, including in-house and participation loans.
  • Post loan payments, payoffs, extensions, and set up ACH payments.
  • Update rate controls on the core system
  • Process paid loan files and maintain accurate loan records.
Loan Documentation & File Management
  • Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards.
  • Provide a second review of loan files uploaded to the imaging system.
  • Maintain title tracking reports and follow up on incomplete files by contacting customers, vendors, or other appropriate parties.
  • Ensure loan documentation is properly maintained and required documents are obtained in a timely manner.
Customer Service
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers and bank staff with questions or direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Prepare correspondence for customers and vendors related to loan servicing activities.
  • Provide support for additional Loan Operations and post-closing duties as needed.
Skills & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Prior banking experience required. •
  • Associate degree or college preferred.
