Position SummaryAs a Pool Supervisor, you'll oversee daily pool operations, lead a team of lifeguards and swim instructors, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons. From managing chemical levels to facilitating programs and events, your leadership will help create a positive and professional aquatic experience. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise pool operations and ensure safety during all shiftsMonitor and adjust pool chemical levelsAssist with staff scheduling, training, and evaluationsEnforce safety protocols and facility rulesLead conflict resolution and customer service effortsPlan and support aquatic programs and special eventsPerform lifeguard duties and swim instruction as neededMaintain accurate records and reportsMentor and support staff development What You BringKnowledge of pool operations, safety, and rescue techniquesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with the public and lead a team effectivelyExperience in lifeguarding, instruction, or aquatic facility managementHigh school diploma or equivalent1–3 years of relevant experienceValid Missouri driver's license (or ability to obtain)Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard) Why Work for the City of O'Fallon?We value our employees and their well-being.
