  • Ensure monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasts, certifications, and corporate reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain strong accounting controls, policies, and processes to support accurate financial reporting and clean audits.
  • Provide full oversight of the facility's Revenue Cycle and Business Office operations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, cash collections, AR days, denials, bad debt, and uncompensated care while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
  • Oversee front-end revenue cycle processes, including insurance verification, patient financial responsibility, collections, discounts, and charity care.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and managed-care reimbursement methodologies and ensure revenue is recognized appropriately.
  • Lead annual operating and capital budgeting and provide ongoing analysis of performance against budget.
  • Partner with facility leadership on FTE management, staffing levels, labor productivity, and expense controls.
  • Provide financial guidance to department leaders and help managers understand and improve departmental performance.
  • Develop financial models and pro formas for new programs, services, and growth initiatives.
  • Participate in managed-care contracting and business development initiatives to maximize net revenue.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management, and other assigned departments.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry standards.
