Job Description

Job Description
A day in this role

Morning arrives in Exeter, NH. You open yesterday’s quality dashboard, scan trend charts for emerging risks, and flag a spike in gauge R&R variation. Coffee in hand, you head to the floor for layered process audits—verifying critical-to-quality checkpoints, observing operator techniques, and calibrating expectations with production leads. A nonconformance crosses your desk; you facilitate a focused 5-Why session, translate findings into a practical corrective action plan, and document the result in our quality records. Before lunch, you update a control plan and refine inspection criteria for a new aerospace component program aligned to AS9100. Afternoon brings a short training huddle on defect prevention and metrology best practices. You wrap the day by publishing a concise report to management—spotlighting trends, risks, and the wins earned through continuous improvement.

What you’ll own
  • Plan and execute routine inspections and internal audits of manufacturing processes to verify adherence to quality standards.
  • Capture and log nonconformances; drive collaborative root-cause analysis and implement effective, sustainable corrective actions.
  • Author, update, and organize quality procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
  • Coach and train team members on quality expectations, methods, and best practices.
  • Analyze quality metrics, synthesize insights, and communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Champion continuous improvement to elevate product quality and streamline operations.
  • Support creation and rollout of quality assurance programs aligned to AS9100 and ISO frameworks.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing quality control/assurance.
  • Working knowledge of ISO-based systems and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Sharp analytical judgment and structured problem-solving.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
  • Clear communication skills—written, visual, and verbal.
  • Comfort operating independently while collaborating across teams.
Technical strengths
  • 5-Why root cause analysis
  • Advanced inspection and gauge/metrology measurement
  • Aerospace manufacturing processes and practices
  • AS9100 quality system experience

If you’re energized by building robust systems, elevating standards, and partnering with production to make quality a habit, we’d love to meet you in Exeter, NH.
