Now Hiring: CDL Delivery Driver
Location: Odessa, Texas
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Delivery Driver to transport and deliver materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. This position is responsible for operating company vehicles safely, ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining delivery documentation, and supporting warehouse operations when not on delivery routes.
Key Responsibilities but not limited too:
- Safely operate Class A or Class B CDL vehicles to deliver products to customer locations.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport materials according to company and DOT regulations.
- Inspect vehicles daily and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Verify delivery orders and shipping paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain proper delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Assist with orders, stocking inventory, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
- Support team goals by assisting with additional operational tasks when required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum one year of delivery driving experience.
- Minimum one year of warehouse or distribution experience.
- Ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and climb as needed.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials throughout the workday.
