Building Envelope Spray Foam Installer

Total Home Performance Systems
Easton, MD, US Full Time
22USD - 24USD per hour

Job Description

Job Description
A day in the life

You roll out with a well-stocked rig, check hoses and the proportioner, and head to a mix of residential attics and commercial crawl spaces. By mid-morning, you’re dialing in temperatures and pressures, laying down clean, even passes of approved spray foam and blown-in insulation to seal the building envelope. After lunch, you might shift to a tight crawl space, don PPE and a respirator, and coordinate with a teammate to complete a high-quality install—on time, safely, and to spec. Before you leave, you tidy the site, perform light maintenance on equipment, and confirm the next day’s plan.

What you’ll do
  • Apply spray foam and blown-in insulation according to project specifications across homes and commercial buildings.
  • Operate spray equipment, compressors, hoses, and standard construction tools with confidence.
  • Keep projects on schedule; finish efficiently while maintaining craftsmanship and site cleanliness.
  • Work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces; respect customers’ homes and deliver excellent service.
  • Collaborate closely with crew members; follow all safety protocols and jobsite etiquette.
  • Travel and occasional overtime as required by project needs.
  • Perform work independently or as part of a team; take ownership of doing it right the first time.
  • Conduct routine care and upkeep of tools and equipment.
  • Show up reliably and be ready to help where needed beyond core tasks.
What makes you a great fit
  • Hands-on spray foam experience is a plus; strong backgrounds in residential painting, insulation, restoration, carpentry, roofing, or related trades are highly valued.
  • Experienced painters welcome!
  • Exceptional attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the ability to retain training.
  • Comfort working in varied conditions: hot/cold temperatures, tight/dark spaces, and wet/dry environments.
  • Physical capability to wear a respirator and PPE; crawl, kneel, crouch; climb ladders; and lift 50–75 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
