Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/QBA/LBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect accurate and timely data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition
  • Provide 1:1 direct therapy to clients in home, clinic, and/or community settings
  • Assist in the development and reinforcement of communication, social, academic, and daily living skills
  • Implement behavior reduction strategies for challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, self-injury, tantrums, non-compliance) under BCBA guidance
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapeutic environment
  • Communicate professionally and collaboratively with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members
  • Complete session notes and documentation daily, in compliance with payor and company guidelines
  • Attend required trainings, supervision meetings, and team meetings
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
  • Current RBT certification (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to physically keep up with active children, including sitting, kneeling, and moving quickly if needed
  • Reliable transportation (if providing in-home or community-based services)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a background check
