Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced 1st Class Blaster/Painter for a shipyard environment. Responsibilities include abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and applying marine coatings to vessels and structural components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of shipyard, marine, or industrial blasting and painting experience
• Experience with abrasive blasting and airless spray equipment
• Knowledge of marine coatings, epoxies, zincs, and urethanes
• Ability to read and follow coating specifications
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors
• Reliable transportation and attendance

Preferred

• SSPC, NACE, or AMPP certifications
• Forklift or aerial lift experience
• Experience with new construction and repair projects
• OSHA 10/30 certification
