Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Primarily daytime hours

Occasional weekend availability may be needed based on client and agency needs.

The RN will work both in the office and in clients' homes throughout Anne Arundel County.

Service areas include:

Annapolis • Arnold • Severna Park • Pasadena • Glen Burnie • Crofton • Edgewater • Davidsonville • and surrounding communities

What You'll Do

As a Full-Time RN, you will provide clinical oversight and support across multiple areas of the agency.

Client Assessments & Clinical Oversight

  • Conduct comprehensive initial client assessments and reassessments

  • Evaluate clients' physical condition, functional needs, and home environment

  • Assess home safety and identify potential risks

  • Complete medication management visits

  • Conduct caregiver supervisory visits and skills assessments

  • Monitor changes in client condition and communicate recommendations to the care team

  • Provide clinical guidance to caregivers based on individual client needs

  • Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and complete

  • Help ensure services remain consistent with the client's care needs and service plan

Client Consultations

  • Participate in consultations with prospective and current clients and their families

  • Help clients and families understand available care services and appropriate levels of support

  • Provide nursing insight regarding client conditions, safety concerns, and care needs

  • Collaborate with the office team to determine appropriate caregiver support and service recommendations

  • Help identify changes in client needs and recommend appropriate adjustments to services

  • Build trusting relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders

Caregiver and CG Candidate Skills Assessments & Training

  • Participate in the evaluation of caregiver candidates during the hiring process

  • Conduct caregiver skills assessments as part of candidate screening

  • Evaluate candidates' ability to safely perform required caregiving skills

  • Provide training and instruction on client-specific care techniques

  • Demonstrate safe transfer techniques, including Hoyer lift use and two-person transfers when applicable

  • Provide guidance related to personal care, mobility assistance, infection prevention, and other applicable care tasks

  • Identify training needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate leadership team members

  • Support ongoing caregiver competency and quality improvement

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure quality assurance remains a priority in all aspects of service delivery

  • Identify and communicate high-risk client information to the appropriate team members

  • Ensure caregivers have the information and training necessary to safely care for assigned clients

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations

  • Stay informed about Maryland nursing, home care, and senior care standards

  • Support continuous improvement of client care and the overall client experience

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland in good standing

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable, insured automobile

  • Ability to travel throughout Anne Arundel County

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

  • Home Care

  • Home Health

  • Hospice

  • Skilled Nursing

  • Case Management

  • Clinical education or staff training

  • Caregiver supervision or competency evaluation

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Comprehensive nursing assessments

  • Medication management

  • Hoyer lifts and safe patient transfers

  • Dementia care

  • Fall prevention and home safety
