Job Title: ServiceNow DeveloperLocation: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid / occasional on-site)Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)About the OpportunityZipStaff is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a major retail organization’s ServiceNow environment.In this role, you will develop and implement out-of-the-box and near out-of-the-box solutions, with a strong focus on Strategic Portfolio Management / Strategic Planning Workspace. You will also contribute to Legal Service Delivery, IRM/GRC, and work adjacent to the CMDB, while collaborating closely with architects and development team members.What You’ll Do:
- Develop and stand up out-of-the-box and near out-of-the-box solutions in the ServiceNow environment.
- Build and update flows, modules, and configurations across Strategic Portfolio Management / Strategic Planning Workspace (mandatory focus area).
- Support Legal Service Delivery and IRM/GRC modules; work adjacent to the CMDB.
- Collaborate with fellow developers to implement API integrations (REST APIs).
- Fix bugs based on priority defined by the team lead.
- Maintain updates on active user stories within ServiceNow.
- Partner with the Architect to design and deliver solutions that address business challenges.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and support occasional on-call coverage for system issues.
- Contribute to a collaborative, Agile delivery environment.
- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Mandatory experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) / Strategic Planning Workspace.
- Strong experience building solutions in ServiceNow and working with REST APIs.
- Comfortable performing basic “run” / operational support activities in ServiceNow.
- Experience with JavaScript (preferred / highly desirable).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work hybrid with occasional on-site presence in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong experience with Legal Service Delivery.
- Experience with IRM / GRC modules.
- Familiarity with CMDB-related work.
- Candidates located within Meijer’s 6-state footprint (preferred).
