Who we are
We are a busy, established Farmers Insurance agency looking for an experienced, California-licensed Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team!
This is primarily a personal-lines account management/customer service position with some light commercial service support. This position is service based primarily. It is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates confidently, and knows how to keep insurance service work organized and moving forward.
You will manage client needs, follow up on underwriting requirements, review policies, and help ensure nothing falls through the cracks. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, provides excellent service, and enjoys being part of a supportive, results-driven team.

Responsibilities
What Youll Do
-Manage agency alerts, follow-ups, and assigned client service tasks
-Assist clients with billing questions, policy changes, missing documents, and underwriting requirements
-Monitor renewals and alerts for both Farmers and brokered policies
-Review client coverages and identify gaps or cross-sell opportunities
-Quote and present personal-lines insurance options to clients
-Answer incoming calls and provide friendly, professional assistance
-Maintain accurate documentation and detailed notes in our CRM
-Follow up consistently with clients, carriers, and underwriting
-Provide light commercial service support, including:
-Assisting clients with commercial policy payments
-Managing commercial policy document alerts
-Processing certificates of insurance as needed
-Support the Office Manager and service team with day-to-day account needs
Requirements
What Were Looking For
*Active California Property & Casualty insurance license required
*At least two years of insurance agency experience strongly preferred
*Personal-lines servicing and quoting experience preferred
*Commercial servicing or certificate experience is a plus, but not required
*Confident, professional telephone and client communication skills
*Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office
*Positive, dependable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
*Life insurance license is a plus but not required
