As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for all music education-related elements within the lessons and rehearsals, creating a dynamic experience to ensure students are challenged and inspired. The Music Instructor positively embodies rock and roll and is responsible for creating a valuable student experience that helps our students learn music and life skills.

Music Instruction:

%CF; Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals

%CF; Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method™

%CF; Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App

Customer Connection:

%CF; Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at-home practice

%CF; Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school

%CF; Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program

%CF; Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities school

Skill Requirements:

%CF; 2 + years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally

%CF; Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design

%CF; Strong customer relations skills. Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers

%CF; Resourceful; good problem-solver
