Mountain View Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider, is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Director of Dementia Unit to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role:
As the RN Director of Dementia Unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state-of-the-art dementia unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor resident progress, and provide guidance and support to direct care staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dementia unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Provide guidance and support to direct care staff, including licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other caregivers
Monitor resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience for our residents
Collaborate with our consulting team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high-performing team

Requirements:
Current RN license in Pennsylvania
