Job Summary

The Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the survey and installation phases of projects. This role provides on-site management, supervision, coordination, problem-solving, and project updates to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Directors and Project Managers with on-site surveys, measurements, and planning for successful installations.
  • Coordinate with installation crews to maintain schedules, resolve obstacles, and provide real-time updates to the project team.
  • Represent the company during high-profile or complex installation projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between installation crews and customers to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, installation processes, and best practices.
  • Provide installation crews with the information, tools, hardware, and support needed to keep projects on schedule.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in production, shipping, and installation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations and customer requirements.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, construction, installation, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, or similar project management software is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in both office and field environments.
  • Significant travel is required (70% travel to East Coast, West Coast, & in between)
