Candy Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career and learn the specialized skills needed to become a Transmission Technician.
You don't need to be a transmission expert. We're looking for a technician with a solid foundation in automotive repair, good diagnostic skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
The OpportunityYou will work alongside a Ford Senior Master Technician specializing in transmissions, gaining hands-on experience in transmission diagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and installation. You will also continue performing general automotive repairs, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills across the shop.
Ford factory training and certification opportunities will be provided, allowing you to develop Ford-specific knowledge and work toward additional certifications as your skills grow.
What We're Looking For- Current automotive technician with a solid foundation in automotive repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Desire to learn transmission repair and diagnosis
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ford experience or certifications are a plus, but not required
- Hands-on training with a Ford Senior Master Transmission Technician
- Ford factory training and certification opportunities
- Opportunity to develop a valuable transmission specialty
