Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local operation to add an experienced Millwright/Welder to their crew. A Day in the LifeYou start by walking the line, listening for the telltale sounds of wear. You’ll align, install, and fine‑tune heavy equipment so production hums. A broken guard? A fatigued weld? You switch gears—fabricate, repair, and get it back online. When a machine misbehaves, your troubleshooting instincts kick in. Before shift’s end, you’ve tightened reliability, sharpened safety, and left the floor better than you found it.
What You’ll Tackle- Repairing and maintaining industrial machinery to reduce downtime
- Welding for repairs and custom fabrication as needed
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical faults
- Installing, aligning, and leveling equipment for optimal performance
- Promoting safe, efficient operations across the facility
- Hands-on background in millwright work, industrial maintenance, or a closely related trade
- Proven welding ability
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Comfort working independently when required
- Reliability and commitment to a schedule that consistently includes weekends
