Powersports Mechanic

We are currently seeking a mechanic to join the growing team at our Elizabethtown, PA location. If you are looking for a unique experience working for an industry leading dealership, consider a future with Hernley's Polaris and Indian Motorcycle of Elizabethtown.Job Overview:Install accessories for new sales and counter customers.Prep new machines for inventory and presold units.Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports vehicles.Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.Safely and effectively operate all shop equipment and tools.Explain diagnostic test results to Service Advisor or Manager, and if necessary, the customer.Perform test rides and other tests. Including ORV and Motorcycles.
