Azure Administrator
Location: Sterling, VA (Onsite)
Pay: $45 - $50/hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, support, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure while supporting a geographically distributed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, and maintain Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and App Services.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD/Entra ID), RBAC, identity governance, and security controls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, patching, and system maintenance activities.
- Implement Azure security best practices, compliance configurations, encryption, and Key Vault solutions.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure management using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with networking, security, development, and support teams to maintain a stable and secure cloud environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Azure administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
- Experience with Azure security, governance, monitoring, and automation tools.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with technologies such as VMware, Microsoft 365, Palo Alto firewalls, Zscaler, and Windows Server environments is preferred.

This position supports critical infrastructure across the Americas and may require occasional after-hours work and travel. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for cloud technologies.
