Loan Servicing Manager - Arundel Bank, Annapolis MD
Arundel Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Servicing Manager to lead and support all aspects of loan servicing operations while remaining actively involved in day-to-day servicing activities. This hands-on leadership role oversees commercial, residential mortgage, home equity, consumer, participation, and construction loan portfolios while ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Position Type: Hybrid - after 90 days
Location: Annapolis, MD
Status: Full-Time | Exempt

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop Loan Servicing staff while actively supporting department workflow.
  • Oversee and perform complex loan servicing functions, including loan maintenance, payoffs, modifications, escrow administration, ARM servicing, participation loans, and construction loan servicing.
  • Manage delinquency and collection activities, loan workouts, loss mitigation efforts, and recovery processes.
  • Conduct quality control reviews and monitor servicing operations for accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with CFPB, RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, HMDA, BSA/AML, and other applicable regulations.
  • Support audits, examinations, reporting, policy development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve complex customer servicing issues and serve as the Bank's subject matter expert for loan servicing and collections.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of loan servicing, loan operations, lending administration, or collections experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with commercial, residential mortgage, home equity, consumer, participation, and construction loans.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations, consumer lending compliance, escrow administration, and collections.
  • Community banking experience strongly preferred.
