  • Do you have 5+ years installing fire sprinkler systems?
  • Can you read shop drawings and blueprints with confidence?
  • Are you comfortable threading, grooving, and assembling steel and CPVC?
  • Do NFPA standards and local codes guide your workmanship?
  • Ready for stable, long-term work with clear advancement to Lead Fitter or Foreman?
What You’ll Work On
  • Install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
  • Set fire pumps, standpipes, underground mains, hydrants, and related equipment
  • Modify, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair systems
  • Coordinate daily with Project Managers, Foremen, and General Contractors
  • Keep jobsites safe; participate in weekly safety meetings
  • Maintain tools and equipment for safe, efficient performance
  • Assist with inspections, testing, punch-lists, and project closeout
  • Travel to projects across the Treasure Coast and South Florida as needed
  • Mentor helpers and apprentices; lead crews when assigned

Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of fire sprinkler pipefitting experience
  • Hands-on experience threading, grooving, and installing sprinkler pipe
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Ability to read construction plans and sprinkler drawings
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background screening requirements for school and government projects
  • Ability to work overtime, alternate schedules, nights, or weekends when required
  • Willingness to travel as project needs dictate
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves
  • School construction project experience
  • Foreman or crew leadership experience
  • Military, federal, or government project experience
  • NICET certification
  • Leadership aspirations and a desire to advance
Pay & Extras
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Typical compensation range for this position is $20–$30/hour
  • Higher compensation may be available for candidates with extensive fire sprinkler installation experience, leadership experience, NICET certifications, or specialized project backgrounds
