About Us: We are rapidly growing telehealth clinic that is leading the way in comprehensive remote patient monitoring. Beyond cardiac care, we empower healthcare professionals with advanced tools to monitor critical vitals like blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and more.

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to manage new patient admissions and discharges, maintain the internal patient census, accurately admit/discharge patients into our practice management software, and generate patient reports as needed. This role is critical to patient flow and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register new patients; verify demographics, insurance, and consent forms.
  • Process patient discharges and update records promptly.
  • Admit and discharge patients into clinic software and EHR system
  • Maintain and monitor the internal census; reconcile daily census and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff and billing staff to support timely admissions and discharges.
  • Prepare and maintain admissions paperwork and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA).
  • Run daily reports, generate basic admissions/discharge metrics, and support audits as needed.
  • Participate in front-desk coverage and patient follow-up calls as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using EHR or practice management systems (Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • medical office or healthcare-related experience preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional, patient-centered demeanor.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance basics, and HIPAA requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $18–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
