Responsibilities
Meet with community members to discuss their insurance needs and offer guidance on coverage options.
Conduct thorough reviews of existing policies to ensure families and businesses have the protection they actually need.
Help clients navigate the claims process by serving as their primary point of contact during difficult moments.
Develop and grow a client base through local networking, events, and community involvement in the Chesapeake area.
Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate risk assessment and policy creation.
Keep detailed, organized records of client interactions to ensure timely follow-up and service.
Requirements
Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Three or more years of experience in sales or client advisory roles.
Strong comfort level with digital documentation and agency management systems.
Clear and articulate communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Residency in or near Chesapeake, Virginia, to maintain active local community connections.
Background in lead generation or networking within the local market.
