As a Fleet Trailer Maintenance Specialist, you’ll combine hands-on know‑how with advanced diagnostics to keep trailers safe, road‑ready, and performing their best.

A day in the shop

You’ll start by reviewing work orders, then move into inspections and diagnostics using JPRO, OEM diagnostic software, multimeters, and Windows-based tools. From routine services to complex electrical, brake, and suspension troubleshooting, you’ll repair or replace components, perform welding and light fabrication when needed, document your work, and communicate clearly with teammates and customers. Safety is your constant companion.

Your impact
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations) with precision
  • Diagnose electrical, suspension, and brake systems on trailers
  • Repair or replace tires, brakes, and suspension components
  • Complete welding and fabrication as required
  • Maintain accurate service records
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and team members
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
What you bring
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain a Class B license preferred
  • Technical or advanced degree, or 1–3+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Comfort with diagnostic tools and software: JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Teamwork, customer service mindset, and strong oral/written communication
  • On-site evaluation with recommended training
