Precision Dimensional Quality Inspector -- Aerospace Machining

Your day at a glanceYou’ll move between machining cells and inspection stations, partnering with machinists to verify parts made from stainless steel and exotic alloys like titanium. You’ll read complex blueprints and GD&T callouts, complete first piece checks and First Article Inspections, and document findings so every part ships right the first time.
What you’ll do- Inspect machined components at inspection or machining stations and report results.
- Interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Perform first piece inspection and full First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Conduct random in‑process audits on the manufacturing floor.
- Use precision tools: comparators, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, dial and pin gages, precision gage blocks, and more to verify size, concentricity, squareness, parallelism, finishes, burrs, etc.
- Carry out visual inspections using a microscope.
- Record results digitally or in writing; accurately document any non‑conformances.
- Apply basic math and computer skills daily.
- Collaborate closely with machine operators to ensure quality parts and on‑time delivery.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures and take on other related tasks as directed.
Goal: 100% quality with 100% on‑time performance.
Experience and pluses- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CMM programming and PC‑DMIS is a plus.
- Multi‑axis machining exposure and root cause analysis experience are a plus.
- Detail‑driven inspectors who notice what others miss.

Schedule & compensation- 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
- Signing Bonus: $2,500.00
