Instrumentation Piping Assembly Specialist

We’re looking for a specialist who can turn P&IDs and blueprints into reliable, leak-free assemblies while keeping production on schedule.

Core responsibilities

• Read and interpret P&ID drawings and mechanical blueprints
• Bend tube accurately using a manual pipe/tube bender (video example)
• Cut and thread pipe to specification
• Fit and assemble instrumentation tubing and fittings
• Measure to 1/16-inch precision with a tape measure
• Operate sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes to handle materials
• Work from manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production

Qualifications

• Manual tube/pipe bending experience (required)
• Mechanical assembly aptitude with strong attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs confidently
• Knowledge of pipe fittings, valves, and switches
• Comfort using calipers, micrometers, and grinders

Schedule & compensation

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Compensation up to $24/hr, dependent on experience.
