Job Summary:
The Crew Chief leads a restoration crew at residential and commercial job sites. They oversee daily work, make sure jobs are completed properly and on time, communicate with customers and management, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise restoration crew members on job sites.
Perform water, fire, mold, and/or property damage cleanup and restoration.
Set up and operate restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and extraction equipment.
Monitor job progress and make sure work meets company standards.
Communicate with customers, office staff, and project managers.
Complete job documentation, photos, and paperwork.
Ensure proper use and care of equipment.
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
Train and assist crew members as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Previous restoration, construction, mitigation, or related experience preferred.
Previous leadership or crew supervision experience preferred.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency calls when needed.
