Voda Cleaning & Restoration serves homeowners and businesses across the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas with carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, EnviroBiotics treatment, and full-scale water/fire/mold restoration. The Role
As Lead Technician II, you'll be the most experienced hands-on technician on our team — running complex restoration jobs, training and mentoring junior techs, and serving as the technical point of escalation on-site. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and Lead Technician to ensure every job meets IICRC standards and Voda's quality bar.
What You'll Do
%CF;Lead water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation jobs from initial assessment through completion
%CF;Operate and calibrate moisture-mapping equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and containment setups
%CF;Perform and oversee Xactimate-based scoping and documentation for insurance claims
%CF;Train, mentor, and quality-check junior and mid-level technicians in the field
%CF;Serve as the on-site technical authority for complex or high-value restoration jobs
%CF;Maintain clear communication with adjusters, GCs, and homeowners on job status
%CF;Ensure jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and to IICRC/insurance documentation standards
%CF;Support duct cleaning and EnviroBiotics service delivery as needed
%CF;Accurately complete work orders, job logs, and mobile documentation
%CF;Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicle
%CF;Stay current on cross-training in mold, fire, trauma, and odor services
What You Bring
%CF;5+ years of hands-on water/fire/mold restoration experience
%CF;IICRC certifications required: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
%CF;Additional IICRC certifications a plus (ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT)
%CF;Experience with Xactimate scoping and insurance-driven restoration workflows a plus
%CF;Proven ability to lead and train other technicians
%CF;Strong communication skills with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and GCs
%CF;Valid driver's license and clean driving record
%CF;Ability to work flexible hours, including emergency/storm response calls
%CF;Comfortable using mobile devices for daily reports and job documentation
%CF;Comfortable with hands-on physical work
