Food Service Worker – Charleston County School District
Pay: $17/hour
Hours: Up to 30hrs (shift times are between 6:30am -2:30pm)
Join our team and help fuel students' success! CCSD is hiring Food Service Workers to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a fast-paced, rewarding school environment. Location: Positions available throughout Charleston County, including Charleston, James Island, Mt. Pleasant, and surrounding CCSD school areas. Candidates must be open and flexible to placement at various schools within the district.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve meals following food safety and nutrition guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen/cafeteria environment
- Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff
- Assist with inventory, food prep, and basic kitchen equipment operation

- Reliable, team-oriented, and friendly attitude
- Ability to stand, lift, and move for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible school-year hours
- No experience required — training provided!
