• Manage and maintain patient and public health records with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with all relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, public health clinics, and community outreach programs, managing complex calendars efficiently.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, providing accurate information or directing individuals to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare and process various administrative documents, reports, correspondence, and presentations using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Assist with the coordination and logistics for public health events, workshops, and community education sessions, including material preparation and registration.
• Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure all necessary equipment is in working order.
• Process billing, insurance information, and financial transactions accurately, if applicable to the role.
• Collaborate effectively with primary care providers, public health nurses, and other administrative staff to support integrated care delivery.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, adhering to all ethical guidelines.
