Part-Time Crane & Rigging Service Sales Representative

Position Overview

Self-driven Part-Time Crane & Rigging Service Sales Representatives to help grow our crane service division. This is a hybrid sales position focused on developing relationships, identifying new opportunities, visiting job sites, and following up with potential customers throughout Indiana and Southern Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit construction job sites and company offices to develop new business and maintain customer relationships.
• Identify potential crane and rigging service opportunities and generate new leads.
• Make phone calls, follow up with prospects, and maintain regular contact with customers.
• Work independently from home while managing leads, follow-ups, and sales activity.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate crane and rigging solutions.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong relationships within the construction and equipment industries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction, heavy equipment, and crane operations.
• Crane and rigging experience preferred, with a strong understanding of crane types, capacities, applications, and job-site requirements.
• Ability to understand customer lifting needs and recognize when a particular crane type or capacity may be appropriate for a project.
• Experience working around construction job sites and understanding basic rigging practices is preferred.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Must be reasonably comfortable using computers for email, lead tracking, and other sales-related tasks.
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a flexible part-time schedule and travel throughout the assigned territory.

Schedule & Compensation

• Approximately 16–20 hours per week.
• Salary, depending on schedule and experience, plus commission on sales.
• Company vehicle and paid business expenses provided.

Territories

• North of US 30: Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.
• South of US 30: Central Indiana.

Our Equipment

Our fleet includes Rough Terrain cranes up to 80 tons, All-Terrain cranes up to 300 tons, and two Liebherr 140-5.1 Mobile Tower Cranes, with Tadano, Liebherr, and Grove equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with crane, rigging, construction, or heavy equipment experience who wants a flexible, part-time sales position with the opportunity to earn additional income through commission.
