Library Paraprofessional

The Marshall Public School District is seeking a detail-oriented, student-focused Library Paraprofessional to support the daily operations of our school library and help foster a love of reading in all students. This positition will require the selected candidate will share their time between Spainhower Elementary and Marshall Intermediate Schools. Responsibilities include:Assisting students and staff in locating and using library resourcesChecking materials in and out, shelving books, and maintaining an organized collectionSupporting teachers with instructional materials and literacy activitiesMonitoring student use of the library and promoting a positive learning environmentAssisting with inventory, displays, book fairs, and other library programsPerforming routine clerical duties to support the library's operations The ideal candidate will:Be organized, dependable, and comfortable working with students of all agesHave strong communication and service skillsEnjoy working in a literacy-rich environmentBe willing to learn library systems and proceduresBe patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students succeedBe able to obtain a substitute teaching certificate within a specified timeframe Position Details:Part-timeHours follow the school calendarCompetitive salary and benefits per district policy If you are passionate about supporting students and promoting literacy, we encourage you to apply.
