About the Role

Fountain Services, LLC is seeking a Prefabrication Production Supervisor to lead our growing Prefabrication department in Spindale, North Carolina.

Our Prefabrication team produces electrical assemblies installed by Fountain field crews, including power and fixture whips, MC and flexible conduit assemblies, conduit racks and trapeze supports, in-wall rough-in packages, and control panel and gear sub-assemblies.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the team, coordinating production and materials, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring complete, properly labeled assemblies are delivered to the field when needed.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and schedule daily production based on project documents and field installation needs, adjusting priorities as requirements change.
  • Read and work from engineered drawings, bills of material, cut lists, and BIM/VDC output to support production.
  • Coordinate materials, kitting, labeling, staging, and delivery to ensure complete assemblies reach the field in installation sequence.
  • Verify completed assemblies against approved documents and escalate discrepancies to Project Engineering or Field Leadership.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, BIM/VDC, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Field Operations.
  • Lead, train, coach, and evaluate department employees while maintaining clear expectations for quality, productivity, and accountability.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop and ensure department standards are followed.
  • Track production output, labor hours, rework, and waste to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Orders are complete, labeled, and delivered in installation sequence.

What You Bring
  • 2+ years supervising a production, assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or electrical construction team with responsibility for scheduling, quality, and employee performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, bills of material, cut lists, and panel layouts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and production tracking software.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and provide three professional references.
  • Willingness to work the schedule necessary to meet department and project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience or experience supervising an electrical prefabrication operation.
  • Familiarity with MC cable, flexible conduit, EMT, RMC, IMC, power and fixture whips, rough-in assemblies, and equipment sub-assemblies.
  • Experience with BIM/VDC model output and engineered fabrication documentation.
  • Experience building to UL 508A or other listed-assembly requirements.
  • Lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement experience.
  • OSHA 10/30 or forklift certification.
Physical Requirements

This position requires regular activity in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, stand and walk on a shop floor for extended periods, and perform reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending. Employees must be able to work safely around fabrication and material-handling equipment in varied climate conditions.

Occasional travel to active jobsites may be required, including working from a ladder or overhead.

Pay Range
$30—$38 USD
