Summary:
The primary function of this position is to ensure clean part assemblies are staged for pre-assembly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives direction from shop lead on the priority of work.
- Receives parts from Tear Down
- Wash and Blast parts ensuring cleanliness
- Transport parts to pre-assembly
- Clean out scrap bin and empty trash at work station as needed.
- Inform maintenance when machinery breakdown occurs.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Basic automotive or mechanical skills
- Familiarity and/or use of power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
