Experienced Barista

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea of Dublin, Ohio is looking for an experienced Barista to join our store! Ideally, you'll have previous experience pulling manual shots on an espresso machine, and know how to handle large volumes of customers without breaking a sweat.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions at the register
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and prep area throughout each shift
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Help train and mentor new team members on drink preparation and customer service standards
• Help manage speed of service during peak hours without sacrificing quality

Barista Requirements:

• Experience as a barista in a cafe or coffee shop setting
• Working knowledge of manual espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old

Barista Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying calm under pressure
• Comfortable handling cash and point-of-sale systems
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Passion for coffee and hospitality
