Job Description

Job Description
Step into a Day-in-the-Life

Sunrise in Tulsa, OK. You arrive on site, meet with the crew for a quick huddle, and review the plan for the day. Your first task: walkaround inspections on the excavator and dozer—fluids, tracks, attachments, controls—logging everything before you fire up the machines. With blueprints and site plans in hand, you begin precision excavation and grading, coordinating with survey stakes and spotters to keep production steady and safe.

As the day unfolds, you switch between excavator, bulldozer, and backhoe to support site preparation, trenching, and backfilling. You communicate clearly with the foreman and teammates, follow safety protocols without compromise, and keep the work moving to hit schedule and budget goals. Before heading home, you complete routine maintenance, tidy your work area, and update equipment usage and maintenance records so the next shift is set up for success.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, backhoes) with a safety-first mindset and steady productivity.
  • Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and daily service to keep equipment in peak condition.
  • Execute site preparation, excavation, trenching, and grading according to plans and directions.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet milestones on time and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to guide field decisions.
  • Maintain accurate logs for equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate clearly with the crew and other on-site stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operations.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical documentation.
  • Team-focused communication skills and a collaborative work style.
  • Physical stamina and strength to support hands-on field work.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

If you take pride in precise earthwork, smooth coordination, and reliable machines, you’ll feel right at home on our team in Tulsa.
