About the role

Based out of our North Haven, CT facility, you will handle regional freight moves in a Class A commercial vehicle while maintaining top-tier safety, communication, and customer care.

Core responsibilities

• Operate a CMV with strict adherence to traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Transport goods among designated locations, meeting scheduled delivery windows.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.
• Maintain precise logs for hours of service, maintenance, and delivery documentation.
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and update ETAs.
• Load/unload as needed and secure all freight to prevent damage.
• Provide professional customer service during every delivery.

Your qualifications

• Active CDL-A with a clean MVR.
• Preferred: 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle multiple vehicle types, including tractor–trailers and delivery trucks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
