Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for an AI Solutions Intern on behalf of our client, a worldwide leader in compressed air solutions with operations in Buffalo, NY. This is a contract position scheduled to run through the Fall 2026 semester offering part-time work that will provide invaluable on-the-job experience for someone aspiring to a career in IT.
In this role, you will be supporting the Sales and Proposal team by assisting in the implementation of AI solutions that improve sales effectiveness, proposal development, knowledge management, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with sales leaders, proposal managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities in which AI can streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve the quality and speed of customer-facing deliverables.

- Assist in the implementation of AI-driven solutions that support sales and tendering teams.
- Develop and optimize prompts, workflows, and use cases utilizing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other approved AI platforms.
- Research emerging AI technologies and recommend practical business applications for the Sales and Proposal Team.
- Conduct testing and validation of AI solutions to ensure reliability and effectiveness.
- Support pilot projects and measure outcomes related to productivity, proposal quality, and time savings.
- Assist with user training and adoption initiatives related to AI tools and solutions.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to business stakeholders.

Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in:
- Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and business process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
- Experience with data analysis, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code solutions.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering concepts.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL is a plus.
