$17 (7am-3:30pm) - 1st shift or 2,2,3 Schedule pay: 19 (6:45am- 7:00pm) or $21 (6:45pm-7:00 am)

Position Summary
The Slitter Operator is responsible for operating slitting machines that convert large parent rolls of material into smaller slit rolls according to customer specifications. This role involves machine setup, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and maintaining production efficiency while following all safety and quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Set up slitting machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality standards
Read and interpret slitting instructions and production specifications
Perform quality inspections and remove defective materials
Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions when necessary
Maintain accurate production and operational records
Configure machines according to standard operating procedures and adjust settings based on quality results
Follow all safety procedures and demonstrate safe work practices
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
