Operations Manager - Roofing / General Construction - Fresno / Clovis - Full Time, In Person
Base pay plus performance bonus. Direct line to the owner. This is the number two seat in the company.

You know the trade. You have run crews, priced work, dealt with suppliers, fixed what went wrong on somebody else's job. Maybe you ran your own shop and are tired of chasing money, carrying insurance, and never getting a day off. Maybe your knees are done climbing.
This is the seat where all of that experience finally pays without you swinging the hammer. You run the operation. Somebody else feeds you the sales, funds the payroll, and takes the risk.

The honest version
Our sales side is outrunning our operations side. Jobs get sold faster than they get built clean. We need one person who owns the middle: scheduling, crews, materials, subs, quality, and the customer call when something goes sideways. Some days that means solving a problem on a roof. Most days it means building the system so that problem stops happening.

What you will own

• Job scheduling and crew assignment start to finish
• Material ordering and supply house relationships
• Subcontractor bench: find them, vet them, hold them to standard
• Quality control and warranty or callback work
• Scope and estimate complex repairs so they are profitable, not guesses
• Customer communication when a job is late, wet, or wrong
• Writing the SOPs and running the weekly production meeting

The hard requirement
Hands-on roofing or general construction. Roofing, GC, carpentry, framing, remodel, exteriors, restoration, or you owned a trade business. You have been on roofs and job sites, not only in an office.
If your background is solar sales, warehouse management, transportation or logistics, retail, or corporate project management with no construction under it, this is not your seat. Nothing personal - it is trade knowledge we cannot teach.

Also required

• You can talk to a homeowner and leave them calmer than you found them
• Basic technology: phone apps, CompanyCam, a CRM, email, Slack. Not coding
• You live within a reasonable drive of Fresno or Clovis
