Cedar Sinai Park is looking for a Banquet/Line Cook to join our Culinary team.
SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Banquet/Line Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, guests, and catered events at Cedar Sinai Park. This position is responsible for food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while following established recipes, food safety standards, and quality expectations.

At Cedar Sinai Park, dining is an important part of our residents' quality of life. You will work closely with the Culinary team to prepare meals and support banquet and catering events while providing excellent service to our residents, guests, and staff.
Essential Functions:Prepares, cooks, and plates food according to established recipes, menus, and quality standards.
Works assigned stations on the hot and cold line during meal service.
Prepares ingredients for daily meal production and catering events.
Assists with the preparation and execution of banquet, catering, holiday, and special events.
Ensures food is prepared and presented in an attractive and timely manner.
Follows proper portion control, food temperatures, and presentation standards.
Maintains proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
Ensures work areas, equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas are kept clean and organized.
Follows all applicable food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Assists with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies as needed.
Communicates effectively with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and other Culinary team members regarding food production and kitchen needs.
Assists other members of the Culinary team as needed to ensure smooth meal and event service.
Provides respectful and professional customer service to residents, families, guests, vendors, and staff.
